Angel is the free download lead off single taken from London producer/musician Pvibez solo ep Urban Xpressionz. Angel is a jazzy soul tinged groove with a rubbery moog bass showing some kind of jamaican rub a dub influence in its movement in places. A keys & vocal scat chorus, is accompanied by the melodic jazzy gracings of some wonderful trumpet courtesy of Close Vibezlab collaborator Vicky Flint. Her trumpet ducks in and out to embellish the jazz/tones in all the right places. Angel can pretty much be seen as a homage to Roy Ayres, Al Jarreau, the jazzy leanings of Stevie and Marvin etc but its a pretty unique concoction in its own right. Its not claiming to be the epitome of perfection but then it doesn't need to be. The feel good factor has its official stamp on this one. The vamp outro takes the track to a funkier soulful stratosphere with added vocal Interplay syncopated trumpet and bassline makes for a pretty heavenly feel good listening!
