Celebrando 25 años cantando música popular cristiana Son ya 25 Años desde que comencé a hacer Música Cristiana en el canto popular cristiano. Estos versos de los Salmos y muchos otros me animan a seguir compartiendo el amor, la paz y la alegría del Señor Jesús a través de la música. Los Salmos han sido para mi, una constante fuente de fuerza e inspiración. Todo Comenzó cuando con Leo Varela y la Hna Flora fundamos PachAmérica con la ilusión de hacer música como nuestros amigos del grupo Siembra pero acabamos desarrollando nuestro estilo propio. Asociados a Audiovisuales del Perú (ADEP) grabamos nuestro primer disco en 1992 y gracias a la acogida de nuestra música, fuimos trabajando otros dos discos con canciones que se convirtieron en clásicos en las parroquias de Lima, varias provincias del Perú, Colombia y El Salvador. Estuve 8 maravillosos años con PachAmérica. El año 2000 decido dejar el grupo para explorar otras opciones. Allí conocí a Jhonatan Prado con quien compusimos y arreglamos varias de mis canciones. Después de algunos meses cantando solo fundé el grupo "Los Musukos" con jóvenes músicos que aceptaron acompañarme. Tras largas sesiones de prácticas y convivencia nos hicimos familia. Nuestras canciones nos permitieron viajar por costa, sierra y selva, sur centro y norte del Perú tratando de evangelizar con música, compartiendo canciones con valores humanos y cristianos. Jóvenes y no tan jóvenes tratamos de evangelizar con música, compartiendo canciones con valores humanos y cristianos entre la gente, cantando sus frustraciones y esperanzas, sus tristezas y alegrías. Luego de algunos años cada uno siguió su camino y nuevamente como solista he seguido trabajando nuevos temas, nuevos estilos con nuevos músicos y artistas. Este disco es una recopilación y actualización de mis temas clasicos con algunos nuevos, todos en el estilo de la Bachata, las Baladas y el Rock. ¡Que lo disfruten! (Ps 33, 1-2) Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done wondrous deeds; His right hand has won victory for him, his holy arm. (Ps 98, 1-2) It's been 25 years since I started doing and singing Christian Popular Music. This two and many other verses from the Psalms have been encouraging me to keep sharing the Love, Peace and Joy of the Lord through Music. The Psalms were always a constant source of strenght and inspiration. It all began when with Leo Varela and Sister Flora we founded the group "PachAmérica". We had the dream of making music like our friends from the group Siembra but we ended having our own style. With Audiovisuales del Perú (ADEP) we recorded our first album in 1992 and then we finished two other albums with songs that became classics in the parishes of Lima, several provinces of Peru, Colombia and El Salvador. I was 8 wonderful years with PachAmérica. On the year 2000 I decided to leave the group in order to explore other options. I met Jhonatan Prado with whom we composed and arranged several of my songs. After a few months of singing solo, we founded the group "Los Musukos" with young musicians who agreed to play with me. Long sessions of practice and sharing our lives made us a family. Our songs and music took us along the coast, sierra and jungle, south, centrer and north of Peru. Young and old, we tried to evangelize with music, sharing songs with human and Christian values among the people, singing their frustrations and hopes, their sorrows and joys. After a few years each one went on their way and again as a soloist I continued working on new songs, new styles and playing with new musicians, artists and singers. This album is a compilation of my classic songs and some new ones, all in the style of Bachata, Ballads and Rock. I hope you will enjoy it. PEACE AND JOY IN THE LORD OF LIFE
