简介

Sleep. 60 minutes of Serenity. "A Fresh approach to Meditation" "A Modern Lullaby for the 21st Century" "A Musical Blanket to Comfort and Reassure the Ears" Could this be the perfect antidote to an overactive imagination? De-stress at the end of the day with a little acoustic cushioning from the outside world. Allow the unhurried sounds of this modern musical landscape to bring tranquility to any location - even the inside of a train or an aeroplane. Written over a whole month, this hour-long piece combines soft strings, gentle piano and modern pads, creating a tranquil soundscape to help even the most frazzled find relaxation. 60 minutes of continuous music ideal for headphones or speakers. Can be used with noise-reducing headphones. An excellent gift for frequent travellers, 'sound-sensitives' and those who need some 'me time'. "I’m fascinated by how music affects us physically, and I love to write music which makes me feel uplifted and content. I’ve found that certain musical keys are soothing to me (like A Flat major), while others are invigorating (like F major) – Sleep is written mainly in Eb major, which feels to me like a very tranquil and gentle key. During the recording and production of this album, I really enjoyed how the music kept returning to its starting point, no matter how far away the tune. The spirit of that feeling runs through the composition. My wish when composing Sleep was that the resulting music would have the power to make the listener feel like they are 'coming home'.
