This is a collection of traditional instrumental carols, written over two years. The orchestration for most of this classically inspired album is very simple - just piano- with a touch of harp, guitar and strings here and there for texture. One of the more challenging aspects of this project was to keep the spirit of the carol simple and easy to sing along to, but also to add a twist of something new. A lot of gospel-inspired chords kept finding their way into the structures, and as they sounded right, they were kept in the final mix. Enjoy listening!
