A very young group ranging in age from 14 to 24. The Risen has a uniquely, mature sound. Each member of the band brings a rich life of music to the table. Dennis Barnes: Singer, songwriter, big brother to the boys. Dennis fills many roles within the group. Married with a child on the way. Dennis has transferred his life experiences into songs. His songs appeal to a wide variety of people. He has learned to balance the demands of a full time job, his marriage, and harnessing the energy that this group possesses. He is a talented musician in his own right and can play numerous instruments. He comes from a long line of musicians; his grandmother still plays the bass to this day. Trevor Lee: Drums; The son of a long-time drummer. Trevor started playing drums before he could walk. Over time he developed a passion for the beat and has become the heartbeat of The Risen. Brett Soignet: Bass; Brett traded his guitar for a bass when The Risen was formed. He has become the soul of the band. As an accomplished saxophonist, Brett brings his formal music training to the band to help define its sound. Mason Soudelier: Lead Guitar; Starting on the piano at the age 7, Mason has grown into a unique musician with skills well beyound his age. He is an accomplished saxophonist with many honors to his credit. Grant Courville: Rhythm Guitar; Grant is the newest member to the band. HIs rhythms add to the fullness of the overall sound of the band. His father still plays in a band and supports his son in this endeavor.
