简介
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN UPDATED MASTERED VERSION OF THIS SONG ON THE ENCHANTED TRAILS ALBUM. "Father" is reminiscent of The Byrds and The Hollies folk music of the 70's, but very devotional, mystical, and sweet. Sharon did a stint on Capitol Records and also Curb as an artist in the early 90's. As a young western Canadian she came to Nashville and has raised a family there. She works as a bookblock editor, but continues to write and record music with producer/engineers/session players Chas Williams and George Bradfute. Her Life and Times album of 2011 has a collection of her chart successes on it from the 90's as well as many new songs that reflect a thoughtful depth born of a wilderness both in spirit and outer majesty. The album has been highly acclaimed by some of the industry greats. Her favorite artists are Ian Tyson and Nanci Griffith, and along in there are also folks like Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and who could forget people like Ray Charles, Crosby Stills and Nash, James Taylor, Paul Simon, John Denver.. and of course the list goes on..Stevie Wonder etc. Sharon has had more than 70 of her songs recorded by other artists and was celebrated recently by Canada's Country Music News magazine, and she has won song of the year for Alberta, as well as top 5 chart songs in Canada. Her inspirational music is starting to gain popularity, as a deep calm and reflective spirit is beginning to unfold. She spends time each year at the Ananda community in California, and as her inspiration grows, so does the acceptance of these little spiritual gems that are her message. Much of her music is available and she has a string of videos at youtube under the name SharonLenoreAnderson. She has a couple of websites; SharonAndersonMusic.com, and SharonLenoreAnderson.com.
