Since her return to Cleveland, Ohio after an 8-year sojourn in Nashville, TN, Raine Austen has taken on the challenge of specialty performances during holiday seasons. She founded a choral group she calls Resounding Joy! to perform with her on major stages throughout the Cleveland area, and to partake in large events. While building an impressive fan base along the way, the request was for more solo performances. Hence, this newly released project, "New Life" has brought Raine front and center once again. Although Resounding Joy! appears on three of the tracks with their impressive harmonies, this CD is the re-launch of Raine's solo career. "I've been known for going outside the box with my song selection and arrangements. This time, I included some non-Christmas songs on this project for those fans who are demanding more than specialty music." Known as a power ballad vocalist and one to bring emotion and tears to her own eyes as well as her audience while performing, Raine chose one particular song written by Buddy Hyatt called "Again," that is without a doubt going to bring Christian to their knees. It is recommended to take this song to every church and every Christian event because of its prayerful vocal and intensely powerful message. With all the changes that occurred in Raine's career in the past several years, along with finding a new life to build a new foundation once her return to Cleveland, the title cut is deemed a perfect fit for anyone going through a change in their life. Particularly those of us so affected by today's economic struggle. "It's difficult to stay positive some days. But when I think of those who've lost their homes and have mouths to feed, I couldn't find a more appropriate thank you in a song than the title cut, "New Life" co-penned by my friend, Elizabeth Montgomery". This lyric will bring an uplifting moment of praise from the heart. As Raine believes, it can change your state of mind to a postive insight whether we need it or not. "New Life" is not a Christmas song! It's a song of thanks and praise that most can relate to. You cannot go wrong with this CD. You'll want to share it with everyone.
