Atmospheric alt rockers Ghost Mountain formed in the hills of Byron Bay in a one-streetlight town called Goonengerry in 2007. Their alternative singer/ songwriter sound is influenced by the likes of Neil Young (Greendale era), Heartless Bastards and Wilco. The band writes and produces lamenting tales that examine the wondrous amongst the mundane while staggering down the road of continual forks and bends. Elegant lyricism tempered with almost baroque-like arrangements court snarling guitars and soaring keys. Vocal duets between Sal and Christians arrestingly matched voices cement their unique sound.
