"The Tempest" is a tale of love on the rocks, a story of love once clear and balmy as a tropical lagoon now whipped to a bitter froth, crashing with emotional turbulence. Composer Peter Ulrich, ex Dead Can Dance percussionist, and special guest I.V. Webb contribute lead vocals with Ms. Webb also adding some haunting background atmospherics. Featured instruments, among others, include hammered dulcimer (played by Ulrich), English horn, concert harp and guitar. "The Tempest' will appear as one of twelve tracks on "The Painted Caravan," the upcoming Ulrich Collaboration album (Spring 2012) helmed by Ulrich and featuring an international array of talented guest artists ably supported by The Jayne Canyons Band, a gathering of some of the finest musicians in New York.
