DunceCap JoyRide's debut album "The Distance Between You And Me" combines Joshua's love for all different types of instruments and moods, creating an emotional and relaxing atmosphere with an original style. Using effects with not only his instruments, but with vocals as well, Joshua started experimenting with a wide array of sounds. The album touches on topics such as social norms, political views, love, and loss with an aspect of poetry that paints a picture for all to see. On the cover of the debut album, Phil Sandoval paints the picture of Joshua standing in front of himself as a symbol of "who we were, who we have become, and everthing in between".
