Ithaka is based off of the poem by Cavafy. It was Taylor Negron's favorite poem, and his idea for a song. It was our last collaboration before he left this plane. Plane was written in the sky when there was no sufficient distraction from the mixed feelings of change. Paint Skies was written with my brother Hayden on a hill that used to be our grandfather's horse ranch. Every Single One began as an improvisation during a street performance for people who were listening several stories up. It's written for anyone who is thinking of leaving. Night Time came from joyful and fleeting moments under the clearest night sky.
