Ziemba explores the physicality and intimacy of a cappella and experimental vocals. Drawing from influences ranging from Cocteau Twins to Les Rita Mitsouko, Ziemba creates a somatic, nuanced, and otherworldly sonic space.

Ziemba's debut EP, Nearness, is situated in mythic time, calling forth images and sensations from nightmares, fantasies, and shared archetypal histories. Drawing from her background as a corporeal geographer and performance artist, Ziemba approaches the creation of sound as both somatic and semantic, exploring co-constitutive aural sensation.
