Hi, Josh here. I've always been told to write something persuasive and exciting about why we're the "next great band," and why you should ADORE us, LOVE us and BUY all our play sets and toys. I won't though. Too much noise. Instead, here's some wonderfully mundane stuff I'm not supposed to put here: Sarah and I are married. Over 10 years. We met each other playing in bands and we've been producing songs together ever since, hoping to make enough to live off of. We have a 7 year old daughter. We recently moved so she could be in a better school. We have day jobs that are... day jobs. We have to walk our garbage a half a mile to the dumpster if one of us has the car. (and bribing our daughter with chocolate to stay quiet while we track the vocals works wonders, by the way) Also the dishes...how do so many dishes get so dirty so quick... there's only three of us for pete's sake... With all that day-to-day stuff, we haven't stopped producing new songs. Everyday. Usually over 100 hours per song, and releasing them through out the year, so you don't have to wait for the whole album to get new music. That hasn't been easy to keep doing, but it's been so worth it. Now, the music... The Droids, is a very specific experiment. To use loads of Synths, big a** rock drums, hold it together with rock bass,... then distort it all... and sing over it. With a dash or two of pianos, organs, guitars, strings, you know, whatever's clever. ;) ​ ...and with your support we will be able to add more music, videos, live performances and random DROiDS stuff than you'd know what to do with.
