Jacob Todd (aka Whitespace & Oban) is co-owner of Emote Music with John Templeton based out of Boulder, Colorado, USA. Producing electronic music since 2002 and using Emote Music as the home for many of his projects, his early releases were on M-Theory, 3 Beat Breaks, Babylon and Within Records. Jacob's music has been featured on Nick Warren's Shanghai Global Underground and Anthony Pappa's Balance 006. Whitespace is taking over as Jacob's modern techno moniker, where his honed production skills can be heard instantly. The sound he enjoys has evolved over the years, where he is now concentrated on the hypnotic and darker edged influences. OGEE- The opening track infuses a funky dancefloor drive with hypnotic and quirky overtones. OGEE (CHRIS PAGE REMIX) - London's Chris Page has seen his music appear on highly regarded labels such as Joachim Spieth's Affin, Rebekah's Decoy, Joseph McGeechan's Backwater Community Records, DJ Hi-Shock's Gynoid Audio and Translucent with a release earlier in 2014 on DJ Emerson's Micro.Fon. His remix retains the essence of the original well and adds a pounding beat and abstract arrangement. CONCENTRIC - Climactic pads and developing harmonies add to the organic nature of the track, migrating between solid and break beat rhythms that bring it to life.
