Michael Reid was born in Jamaica, he grew up in Clarendon. He went to school in May Pen, he became a Christian where he led the ISCF (Inner School Christian Fellowship) then he graduated in 2002.

He then came to United States where he became a popular singer and songwriter, then he went on to entering the Gil & Pat Bailey gospel award show where he won four awards. Michael has gone all over the world ministering to people from different world and different culture.
