Michael Reid, the godson of gospel, was born in Jamaica; he grew up in the parish of Clarendon. He went to High School in May Pen where he became a Christian then he went on to led ISCF (Inner School Christian Fellowship), during that time he entered the JCDC festival award then he graduate in 2002.

He came to the United States the following year, then he became popular singer and songwriter, where he produced four of the best CD in the Caribbean and the American circle. From those four CDs Michael Reid has won four gospel award. Michael as travel all over the world to sing for different people, from different culture.
