Kenneth Irving Scott Jr. (Ken Scott) has been composing since 1982, beginning within his High School years. Although he has studied and performed classical vocals, piano, and some guitar, he also holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and works with MIDI-compatible musical equipment. His musical influences range from Electronic House and Dance artists such as Felix da Housecat, DJ Moby, Armand Van Helden, Paul Oakenfold, the Crystal Method, and Fatboy Slim, to Latin Jazz and Samba artists such as Carlos Santana, Willie Bobo, Mongo Santamaria, Tito Puente, "The Conga Kings" (a.k.a. Candido Camero, Carlos "Patato" Valdes, and Giovanni Hidalgo), Roberto Roena y Su Apollo Sound, Jorge Ben Jor, Sergio Mendes, Paulinho da Viola, and Revelação. Mr. Scott currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
