A2 is shorthand for Augmented Duo. North Carolina musicians Judy Jordan (flute) and Karyn Byerly (piano) combined their separate careers of ensemble and solo playing, sacred and secular genres, accompanying and teaching to form A2. The first augmentation of A2 was to join creative forces with recording engineer Paul Jordan of Cloudlevel Productions LLC. Our music recording journey began with a request for hard-to-find Colonial dance music. "Maid of the Oaks" was released in 2007, followed by Christmas favorites in 2008, and a hymn project entitled "Be Thou My Vision" in 2009. We invite you to turn down the volume of the demands of everyday life and spend an hour unwinding with "A2 Relaxed".
