Solomon Silber recorded this album as a tribute to the guitar legacy of Christopher Parkening after competing in his international guitar competition in 2012. The album contains the complete repertoire from the competition. The variety in this selection of music provides a wonderful survey into both the diversity of repertoire and the myriad textural possibilities of the classical guitar. This recording was produced in Sprague Hall at Yale University during the summer of 2012.
