With the use of electric guitars and a more rock ‘n’ roll feel to the new album, Jeremiah Akin said his music is evolving from his original album “Weeping Prophet and the Bards of Apollo” which Akin debuted in February 2011. After attending Calvary Chapel Bible College in Seattle for a couple of years, Akin returned to Moscow to pursue his music and attend school at the University of Idaho. Graduating with a degree in English and creative writing, Akin toured the U.S. from May 2012 to January 2013. When Akin isn’t making music, he works full time at Milestone Decisions with developmentally disabled adults and considers himself to be heavily involved in the community. He plays his favorite melodies and catchy lyrics at local coffee shops and special events such as the Moscow Art Walk or farmer’s market. “I ultimately want to make something that’s sophisticated, down to earth and accessible,” Akin said. “I want to use all of my influences from a variety of generations of different kinds of music and create something that has staying power.” ### Jeremiah Akin is a musician from Moscow, Idaho, performing in coffee shops and bars throughout the Palouse.
