This CD bounces around blues & folk roots-type music. The sounds are very cool, but the lyrics are the pearls here. Characters, places, comments and stories will amuse and warm you (well, depending on your sense of humor, of course). This'll be the most interesting album you hear this year (whatever year you buy it). A couple of comments from listeners: "Wry, no-nonsense songwriting."
