Although Carolyne Mas is a thoroughly American artist, she experienced her greatest success overseas, especially in Germany, where she lived, recorded and toured from 1989 through 1993. To her American fans, and to her many fans all over the world, much of this material remains unknown. "Somebody Like Me" aims to fill this gap in time, with both studio and live recordings that are both fresh and energetic, and run the gamut from rock to blues to soul to alternative seamlessly, without missing a beat.
