My musical career has been filled with wonderful experiences and warm relationships with many people I have had the honor to play and sing for. I have been singing in senior facilities of all types since I was in high school. This all stemmed from my love of the oldies deeply instilled by my father and the nights of hearing him play the piano. I wish I could relay even a handful of the memories I have made with Winston, Virginia, Louis, Madeline, Ran, Mary Francis, Isabel, Alpha, Junior, Gerogia, Helen, and countless others. I was orignally going to gather the songs I had learned for them and others as requests on this album, but the collection was too personal and I opted to do songs in the same spirit instead. I am deeply indebted to the friendship and goodwill that has been shown to me and my music. I have been allowed to participate in people's intensely personal memories at a vulnerable and tender time in life which I many times felt unworthy of, and I have been forever changed by their spirit.
