I AM album features a superb collection of instrumental pieces by Denis Sanacore, composer of the film TS Spivet. The acoustic guitar and fiddle themes, are inspired by nature and wilderness, a beautiful feeling of a country retreat. Denis Sanacore, grandson of a Sicilian emigrant, was born in Montreal on December 22, 1967. As a child, he developed an interest for the violin and became fascinated by this instrument. By the time he was a teenager, he was already a self-taught guitarist and had grown a passion for folk rock music, being influenced by musicians such as Willie Nelson, James Taylor, John Denver and Joni Mitchell and many others. In 2012-2013, he made his debut in the film music industry when renowned filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet asked him to compose the track of his upcoming movie “The Young and Prodigious Spivet”, having heard a few of Denis Sanacore’s compositions on mySpace.
