With influences like Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, The Beatles and Norah Jones, Emily Nicole has found ‘her own’ and recorded the melodies on a new CD. Emily Nicole recognized her passion for music at a very young age, and since then, has studied voice with profound genius’ Cynthia Benevidas and Anne Varwig and at the Missouri Fine Arts Academy in Springfield. Emily Nicole, as a pianist, studied for ten years with Eugenia Gaye Fleisher. The stage is like a second home to Emily Nicole, who performed for six years with the Patt Holt singers, crooned with Diana Starr and Charles Hilliard, and headlined the talent in the Francis Howell Central performances of Fiddler on the Roof, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Les Mis and narrated in the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Emily Nicole remains true to her beginnings and can still be found singing in her church praise team, or with Greg Worzel and the Rhythm of the Nite Band at St. Louis night spots like Jimmy’s on the Park, Rizzo’s and IL Bel Lago’s. Emily Nicole has compiled and recorded some of her favorites on this CD.
