简介：名David Pagmar的Montt Mardié来自斯德哥尔摩，求学时期先后待过意大利与纽约等地。和一般高中生一样，喜欢玩玩音乐、弹弹吉他唱唱歌。根据他自己的说法，当时与他同年龄层的学生乐队几乎不是玩奏heavy metal就是jazz音乐。很显然长相斯文的David并不期望自己跟他们一样，于是经常与兄弟姐妹们拿起吉他在阳台上哼哼唱唱，还经常被自己的母亲数落了一番。于是David逐渐养成了戴起耳机听音乐的习惯，总是独自一个人在深夜里听听、哼哼、唱唱。就这样从duran duran、marvin gaye、the cure、the beatles、simon and garfunkel甚至new order、wham与brian wilson(the beach boys)等人的音乐中找到题材 ，将这些心得演变成05年的首专《Drama》。

07年4月， Montt Mardié带来了这张双CD超分量的第二张专辑《Clocks/Pretender》。“Clocks”收录了他与他的乐团合作的10首个人新曲；而 “Pretender”则收录了他与他喜欢的瑞典音乐人合作的10首歌曲，分别是我们耳熟能详的Andreas Mattsson、Le Sport、Bobby Baby、Jens Lekman、The Legends、Deportees、Christian Zellinger、Vapnet、Mr. Suitcase和Hello saferide。尽管在新专中难以找到像Highschool Drama这样让人雀跃的劲歌，但Montt Mardié清新脱俗的假音与啦啦啦的隽永和声仍是专辑动听之处的制胜法宝。个人更为偏爱他与众艺人合唱的“Pretender”。

David Olof Peter Pagmar (better known as Montt Mardié) is a Swedish singer/songwriter whose ethereal, soulful falsetto and genre-bending sensibilities nod to likeminded Scandinavians like Jens Lekman, Tobias Fröberg, and Loney, Dear. His debut album, Drama, was released on Hybris in 2005. An EP, Science, was released one year later, leading up to the release of a double album, 2007's Clocks/Pretender. The album included a disc of duets featuring artists like Jens Lekman, Hello Saferide, Andreas Mattson, and Vapnet.
