Dr. Jeffrey Thompson began researching the healing properties of sound since 1981. In 1988 he moved to San Francisco and established a research center, where he studies the effects of different sonic pulses on the mind and body. His Brainwave Symphony and Brainwave Journey series for the Relaxation Company integrate healing sounds into soothing new age music.
