简介：Arthemesia是一支来自芬兰的全明星黑团，成员大都来自Ensiferum、Moonsorrow和Korpiklaani等一干芬兰大牌，不过这次他们不再做维京民谣了。乐队以宗教、魔法和太空玄学为主题，风格为旋律化的黑金属，黑嗓很正点，新专中又加入了不少黑氛围元素。旋律也好，氛围也罢，最吸引我的都不是这些，而是音乐里那种冰冷唯美的独特气质，那种气质在我看来似乎只属于那冰雪覆盖的北国。

Although formed in 1995 by vocalist Valtias Mustatuuli and guitarist Routa Salomeri, Finnish black/dark metal band Arthemesia (originally named Celestial Agony) didn't record their first demo until three years later, when additional members Jari "Arbaal" Mäenpää (guitar), Jukka-Pekka Miettinen (bass), and Oliver Fokin (drums) joined the cause. More demos followed, but the group continually struggled to get a wind in their sails, as various members' dallied with other projects (Ensiferum, Cadacross, etc.). A 2001 album called Devs - Iratvs was eventually cobbled together from these demos, but by the time 2004's ShamaNatahs LP finally emerged, the true status of Arthemesia's career was anyone's guess. One thing that was certain, and that was multi-instrumentalist Jari Mäenpäa's departure to form a new project named Wintersun.
