简介:Hi my name is Kylie Beniamino and I was born on April 12, 1995 in Atlanta, Ga. I was raised by my biological father, Phil Beniamino. My dad always could see the spark in my eyes to be a performer. He said I was always singing around the house, at his work, in front of people at the stores, and of course to “Barney” on the TV. Being a single father, my dad knew there was something special in me. He entered me into a “little Miss. Beauty Pageant,” where I first became recognized. Unfortunately, the financial commitment was something my dad couldn’t afford at the time. When I turned 6, dad married my “step-mom” Denise. However, she is the only mom that I can honestly say I ever had. It was Denise’s lifelong dream to play football and something my father wanted to get back into coaching. At that time they did the research to find out that there was a league for women professional football in which Atlanta didn’t have a franchise yet. So my dad purchased the licensing for a team and allowed my mother’s dreams to come true. The team was named by me, as the Atlanta Xplosion. Not only was my mother’s dream coming true but also mine was also! You see, here I had the privilege to sing the national anthem, and occasionally sing at half time for thousands of people in the stands. I knew then, that I wanted to do this for a living. Still in elementary school, the chorus teacher asked me to sing on patriotic day, “God bless the U.S.A.” in front of the entire school. Of course I took on the challenge which later led me an opportunity in 5th grade to sing a song in French for their graduation. In middle school I continued to sing in chorus, but also became fascinated with theatre. To this day my favorite roll I played was in 8th grade as Maize in Seussical Jr. At this point in my life I began auditioning for local talent scouts. The Actor Scene and Nicole Campbell took me on and helped me train for what I knew I wanted to do for a living. I went on to compete with AMTC with hundreds of other scouts around. Although I won several awards, getting callbacks from agencies and producers at 12 years old, would require me to “lose” some weight to be successful in the future according to them. It was then that I received a true “reality” check of what these agencies and record labels were looking for. Although I was still very young, I was ready to believe in everything they said I needed to do. I continued to train and work hard and eventually shed some pounds to help people see that I can do what they wanted me to do. Several years later at the age of 14 I went back again and they saw a new Kylie. I finished in the top 3 of every category I entered. Later that year, I went to American Idol Camp in LA for two weeks and got to train with some amazing coaches to help furthered my education in the entertainment arena. This was a critical choosing process where you had to submit videos and bios of yourself to be selected into camp. Finally I felt like people were starting to recognize me. During this process, I began vocal training. I began lessons with Lisa Garcia, then Amy Thronburg, Jan Smith studios, and my current vocal coach who I love and adore, Vanessa Olivarez. I met Vanessa when auditioning to be in a kid’s band in Roswell, Georgia. They selected me in which I performed with them a few times but I was more interested in being a solo artist that wasn’t playing in a rock band. Vanessa Olivarez, who is a former American Idol top ten contestant, has talent, experience, and wanted to work with me. Vanessa was adamant that I had something special and really wanted to train me to progress my voice. It was an easy decision to work with her and she has helped me grow so much over the years. Vanessa and I have been working for about 4 years now. I have always been fascinated with American Idol but at the age of 14 I was not able to audition. However, the town of Cumming, Georgia had auditions for their “Cumming Idol.” I went and competed in that Cumming Idol competition against all ages, and won runner up by singing, “I want to dance with somebody” by Whitney Houston. This eventually helped me receive my first “paid gig.” I was hired to help sing backup vocals for an upcoming Christian Rapper named “Mars” at Patchworks studios. Wow someone paid me to do what I loved to do! Currently, I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. Throughout school I’ve been; a competitive cheerleader, Event Coordinator for Special Olympics, President of Best Buddies club, (where I have found a sincere love for special needs), the Chamber Choir, literary trio, Senior Class Secretary, Pep rally announcer, theatre, and thespian club where I am vice president of my Troupe. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to have landed very many lead roles performances such as Footloose, Everyman, White Christmas, Annie, Legally Blonde to name a few. In my spare time I enjoy going to church, (where I also donate my time to sing to the little kids at church weekly), being in the recording studio, playing with my loveable 6 year old brother Rocco, along with enjoying time with all my friends and family. I am very new to becoming a recording artist and very excited to share my story and work to the whole world. I hope you will continue to follow me and hope my music might turn some of your bad moments in your life into some good moments. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me a little bit.
