中文名：沈丕基 英文名：piji shen 生日：1971-12-15 国籍：中国 身高：178cm 主要成就：著名艺术家 代表作品：新世纪酒店 简介：沈丕基（中国深圳） 自由艺术家 实验音乐人 策展人 1971年出生于福建闽南的书香门第，自幼习承中国传统书画与音乐。1988年进入福建工艺美术学院主修现代漆画专业， 1993年工作生活于深圳至今，成为国内各知名酒吧娱乐场所空间设计师。作为深圳九十年代至今先锋音乐和当代艺术的代表人物之一，于1997年组建的地下摇滚乐队“向日葵乐队”任主唱与主音吉他，活跃于当时中国的地下摇滚界与朋克音乐领域，后又转入对纯粹声音实验以至先锋视觉艺术的创作与实践，同时作为深圳当代艺术进程中的重要参与者与见证者。作品涉及绘画、音乐、声音、诗歌、装置、影像、行为等形式，深受西方思潮影响并与东方禅宗精神相融合形成自己的艺术语言系统，长期坚持以音乐中的即兴精神将声音、视觉与行动的交互为介质切入对当代艺术的表现。创作动机与个人生活联系紧密，跨界性大量作品多呈现为对现代城市的快速发展变化的关注与感受，并对自然万物的思考领悟做出了一定当代性的艺术再现，同时不断策划国际行为艺术现场。 Piji SHEN (Shenzhen, China) Artist, Experimental Musician, Curator SHEN was born in a scholar-gentry family in Fujian in 1971. He began to learn Chinese traditional calligraphy, painting and music from his childhood. He entered Fujian Academy of Arts majoring in modern lacquer painting in 1988. Now, he works and lives in Shenzhen since 1993 and has become the well-known domestic bar designer.  As one of the most representative of the avant-garde and contemporary art in Shenzhen in the 1990s till now, he established an indie rock band named "sunflower band" in 1997 and was the vocal and lead guitarist. SHEN was active in China's underground rock and punk circles, and then transferred to the research of pure experimental music and even avant-garde visual art creation and practice. At the same time as an important participant in the process of contemporary art in Shenzhen, SHEN’s artworks including paintings, music, sound, poetry, installations, images, performance art etc. By the combination influences of western thought and Oriental Zen sprit, he merged to form his own artistic language system. He also insists for a long time to improvisational spirit of music in the sound, vision and performance of interactive media to express contemporary art performance. Creative motivation and personal life are closely linked. SHEN’s artworks show his feelings and concern about the rapid development of modern city and thinking and comprehension about nature life. According to this, SHEN has made some contemporary art reproduction. Meanwhile, he curates international performance art festival. 荣誉记录：2003年录入《中国摇滚手册》
