Linda Genteel

简介：作曲家Linda Genteel九岁开始学习钢琴演奏，之后被她的导师传奇人物李柏瑞斯誉为钢琴公主。13岁的时候她便开始与加州大学洛杉矶分校管弦乐队合作登台表演。之后她在美国戏剧艺术学院学习深造开阔了视野。二十世纪八十年代中期她曾向李柏瑞斯学习并与他一起巡回演出。1985年她在白宫为当时的美国总统罗纳德·里根演奏。1977年的时候她还曾到过中国进行巡回演出。后来她又曾与前任协会主唱吉姆·耶斯泰尔一起到各个学校进行禁毒音乐节目的巡回演出并宣扬“热衷音乐，拒绝毒品”。另外，她还发行过一系列的专辑，其中包括《世界最爱情歌集》、《浪漫钢琴》以及《爱情加油站》等。 Biography by Jason Ankeny Proclaimed "The Piano Princess" by her mentor, the legendary Liberace, composer Linda Genteel began tickling the ivories at age nine; at 13, she made her public debut playing violin with the UCLA Orchestra, further broadening her horizons by attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. During the mid-'80s Genteel toured and studied with Liberace, and in 1985 she performed at the White House for then-President Ronald Reagan; a lengthy stint at the Las Vegas casino the Golden Nugget followed, and in 1997 she even toured China. With former Association frontman Jim Yester, Genteel toured schools with the anti-drug musical program "Get High on Music, Not Drugs"; through her own Princessland Productions, she additionally released a series of recordings including World's Greatest Love Songs, Piano Passion and Touches of Love.
