Patricia Pagny won the Alessandro Casagrande International Piano Competition in Terni, Italy, the Pembaur-Preis Bern, Switzerland, and the Rollino Piano Prize. In addition, she was a finalist at the Marsala Piano Competition and Concours Clara Haskil, and was also laureate of the Action Musicale Philip Morris, France. She has made both radio and television recordings. Her compact discs by STRADIVARIUS, NOVALIS, GUTINGI and MGB include piano pieces from Scarlatti, to Othmar Schoeck, Arthur Honegger and Paul Glass (born 1934). Her CD featuring Mendelssohn’s Songs without Words was chosen as one of the “Top5” by ARTE-Television in 2007. Patricia Pagny has studied with Nora Doallo (student of Vincente Scaramuzza in Buenos Aires), Nikita Magaloff, Maria Joâo Pires, Paul Badura-Skoda and is teaching at Bern University of Arts in Switzerland - Hochschule der Künste Bern-HKB - as a piano and chamber music Professor.
