The Hungarian Chamber Orchestra was reformed in October 2011 to revive and continue the tradition of the old Hungarian Chamber Orchestra. Leader of the rejuvenated Hungarian Chamber Orchestra is Béla Bánfalvi, one-time member of the Bartók String Quartet and former concertmaster of the State Concert Orchestra and Budapest Strings.
