简介：Travis is a musician and songwriter currently living Florida. He found a passion for drumming at age 12 and remains a devoted player to this day. Determined not to “sell his soul to guitar,” it has become much more than a hobby since he started playing 8 years ago. “I picked up the guitar,” he says, “because guitar is way cooler that drums... And if you're not cool you won't get invited to parties, and if you don't get invited to parties, you won't get to eat other people's food." Writing songs gives this artist a window to a world with no salt and vinegar potato chips. "Those are disgusting," Travis has been known to report. Touting nothing more than his instinct, (also the title of his debut album) Travis has never stopped learning about music. “I’ve never been technically trained, but I try not to let that stop me. Every time I pick up the guitar I learn something new, like a G chord, or what an E-string is. I’m eager to know more, always." This singer/songwriter delivers a raw performance combined with perceptive lyrics that anyone can relate to… unpredictable structure with a strong through-line. It’s impossible for any serious songwriter not to list The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd as influences to their craft. These coupled with a steady dose of The White Stripes, Snow Patrol, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, and U2 are key ingredients to Travis’ recipe for songs with loud instruments- Turn it up and make some noise.
