简介：Res One if part of Bristols largest and most prominent Hip Hop collectives Split Prophets. Over the past two years he has been working alongside the rest of the crew to gradually build up the Collective into not only a record label but into one of the UKs most highly respected and quick rising groups. Scibbled Thoughts was the first release from Split Prophets, brought to you by Res, Upfront and Badhabitz, with features from the crew and production from Dgreen. with this and the drop of their first video, Aint Amused, people started to take notice of the crew. Since this release Res didnt drop any releases until the drop of Drugs, Booze and Dental Issues, the album made with Datkid. However he was far from quiet. from supporting a host of names with the Split Prophets family, from the Wu Legends to Jehst and Phi LIfe Cypher, Akil (j5), Ra the Ruggedman, Krs One and Pete Rock just to mention a few. To also securing some heavyweight col-labs in the process such as a track with Dizzy Dustin from Ugly Duckling, a track and video with uk legend Mystro and various other collaborations with uk heavyweights such as Leaf Dog, Life Mc and Blade. Other projects that Res has been involved in this year include the High Life Sampler and the Southbound and Down ep that was primarily made on trips abroad as well as a number of features on other artists projects such as Life and Nappas album, The Gift Of Life. Res is currently working on a solo project and a selection of collaborations.
