TERRORFAKT was born on September 11, 2001, a day when our world as we know it changed drastically. A day when as Americans, our freedom and safety came under fire. A day when thousands of victims and hundreds of heros gave their lives in the name of freedom and liberty. It was this day, September 11th, 2001 that TERRORFAKT was formed as a tribute to the fallen. Influenced by such established artists as Controlled Bleeding, Monolith, Neurosis, Merzbow, Manufactura, and Synapscape, TERRORFAKT's sound ranges from powerful dancefloor anthems to ambient soundscapes and pure experimental noise structures. TERRORFAKT’s debuted on Timman Records, with "Deconstruction". Songs such as "Pure", "A.L.F.", and "Frontal Damage" became smash club hits across America and Canada, thanks to such Djs as 2501 (Washington D.C.), HELLRAVER (NYC), DJ Gyn (NYC), Replikant (Kansas City, Mo) The Das Bunker Djs (Los Angeles, Ca) , and many other loyal disc jockeys. TERRORFAKT's sound design was not limited to their own material, the band has completed remixes for such artists as P.A.L, E-Craft, NeikkaRPM, Crocodile Shop, Collide, Das Ich, Poitive Complex, Wumpscut, Dubok, Massiv In Mensch, Mindless Faith, UV, DYM, Inertia, GASR and many others. TERRORFAKT has toured the United States and Canada several times opening for such bands as E-Craft, Das Ich, Funkervogt, Manufactura, Inertia, Haujobb and Hocico, in addition to several one off shows across the country. Public response to the band has been overwhelming, and TERRORFAKT has proven to be a non stop touring and propaganda machine. A new full length CD entitled “Cold Steel World” featuring 17 songs of pure blitzkrieg stomping noise is planned for an August release on Metropolis Records. In august TERRORFAKT makes their European debut at the Summer Darkness Festival in Holland, which will be then followed by another North American tour in September with Manufactura.
