As a DJ Sonny shot to fame by winning a DJ Mag mix-tape competition for Renaissance leading to sets at Amnesia, a weekly residency at Manumission and Mixmag announcing Sonny as one of their original “Future Heroes” alongside Nic Fanciulli, and Gareth Emery. Over the last few years Sonny’s racked up slots for the who’s who of club land including sell-out shows at Space, Pacha and Ministry Of Sound. He’s held a monthly residency in Barcelona, rocked the likes of Global Gathering, Wickerman and Isle Of Wight Festivals and played to over 1 million people at The Berlin Love Parade. In addition to this Sonny has done no less than 3 guest mixes for Radio 1 as well as countless live interviews and has featured on both MTV and Channel 5’s ‘The Gadget Show’. Renown for his technical abilities both in the studio and DJ booth, Sonny was recently invited by industry leaders Ortofon and Ecler to become UK Ambassador for their brands, showcasing just what their technology is capable of in the right pair of hands.
