Angela Burnette Smith may have had small town beginnings in her hometown of Mebane, NC, but that has not wavered her faith in a mighty God who is able to do "exceedingly and abundantly above whatever we hope or imagine" when we make ourselves available to Him. Angela recognizes herself first as a minister of the gospel and songwriter and singer as exciting bonus avenues the Lord has given her to spread the "good news" of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Frequently referring to herself as a "whosoever", Angela exclaims her excitement about being used of God as His servant in spite of herself.In addition to assisting her husband, Rev Phillip W. Smith, Senior Pastor of Greater Cary Christian Fellowship, in ministry, she is busy keeping up with an 15 year old daughter, Lauren, and a 6 year-old son, Darren Christian. Angela is bi-vocational. In addition to being an ordained minister,she continues to work as a certified Physician Assistant in a prenatal setting, and has also founded Whosoever Ministries which has a mission to reach the masses with the gospel message of Jesus Christ while promoting self-worth by helping individuals of all ages understand their worth is based on "whose they are" and God's divine purpose for their life, not in who they are or their circumstances. She also purposes to help others learn as she has - it's not about our ability but our availability in the service to God that is most important to Him. "For it's who we are in Him that gives us strength and worth. Furthermore- only what's done for Him will last." Her recent CD single release entitled "Whosoever" is a refreshing, anointed reminder that God is an equal opportunity God whose arms are outstretched to whosoever will receive His precious gift of love.
