I am a children's songwriter and have released 3 CDs for young children. This ballad that speaks of aging and Alzheimer's I have chosen to release separately from my CDs. It tells a beautiful story about a mother giving a doll to her little girl and that same little girl passing that doll on as a gift to her young daughter. The second little girl develops Alzheimer's and loses all memory and the last daughter in the story has to deal with putting her in a nursing home.

I was inspired to write this song after watching an elderly woman in the nursing home holding onto a baby doll, a sight that I have seen many times. This is a wonderful song that children can enjoy as they listen to the story and that anyone who has dealt with the effects of Alzheimer's disease will enjoy. It is a very sentimental story.
