Tanner blends jazz, blues, R&B, pop and Latin rhythms into her unique sound; and she is now embarking on a television and film music career. Seven of her songs from this new c.d. have been signed for upcoming 2010 projects. YOU CAN KISS ME INTO ANYTHING features the talents of the Jeannie Tanner Quartet: vocalist, composer and trumpeter, Jeannie Tanner; along with Lisa McQueen on piano; Cory Biggerstaff on bass; and, Darlene DuFay on drums. The c.d. also highlights special guests Dan Murphy on piano (tracks 2 & 4); Michael Hesiak on saxophone (tracks 1, 5 & 6); and the wonderful Latin percussion of Jenille Ramos (congos/bongos), Paul Abella (bongos) & Kat Fitzgerald (djembe) throughout the c.d. The Jeannie Tanner Quartet has been performing around Chicago for the past 3 years and recently performed on ABC and WGN (December, 2009); headlined the Best Buy Stage at the Taste of Chicago in 2009 for the second year in a row; Tanner's 2008 release, PROMISE ME THE MOON was recently on the Grammy list for ballot consideration in 4 categories; and Ms. Tanner's music can be heard on radio stations around the country, including WDCB 90.9 FM in the Chicagoland area. The songs from the new c.d., are romantic and sexy - setting the mood for a perfect rendez-vous with that special someone.
