This album is a fusion work combining the symphonic structures and development techniques of the late Romanticism (e. g. Bruckner) with the soundscapes, instruments and rhythms of Ambient Electronica and Chill Out. So, the result is an Electronica symphony in three huge movements and with three recurring themes which take in turn the principal role in each movement (and in G minor, for what it's worth...).

The first movement (Ansfelden) is a driven and dramatic sonata allegro with three tonal areas, typical for Bruckner's spatious symphonies. The second (Wahnfried) is slow, rather lyrical and nostalgic, and the finale (The Dinner Of Mice) is an appeased, somewhat humble and trippy rondo in G major. All in all, 'Synthony 1.0' is like a channeling of Bruckner by the members of Aes Dana or sometimes by Klaus Schulze: majestic, slowly unfolding, repetitive at times, but with the sounds and rhythmic background of the Chill Out era.
